Eddie's

When I arrived in Telluride in 1991, Eddie’s was pretty much a go-to place for lunch or pizza and a beer after work, despite an unpromising location in the back of the Elks Building breezeway. I remember clearly when Eddie Snyder decided to leave town and move his business to Moab for a very simple reason: he could make money in Moab, but not in Telluride, because there were many more visitors in Moab than in Telluride and a much lower cost of doing business, Eddie McStiff’s in Moab is going strong while no restaurant has thrived in Eddie’s old space, possibly proving his point. This picture was taken in early June 2016 when the space was being remodeled for Box Canyon Bicycles.
