Reader Reviews
Erik Krell:
Seth Cagin’s “The Uranium Drive-In” is a sharply written, page-turning (or next-chapter-clicking) mystery. The rich descriptions of place put readers in an alluring region whose unique qualities call to mind Jim Chee in Hillerman’s New Mexico or Billy Phelan in Kennedy’s Albany. The plot features n old-school journalist tracking down a mysterious disappearance in the new-but-quickly-fading Southwest. It’s a swift and seamy hoot.

If you are looking for a good book to read, I highly recommend “The Uranium Drive In” by Seth Cagin. I could not put it down. Not only is it a good mystery with interesting characters, Seth also seamlessly interweaves the history of the western Colorado in a way that is so interesting. I love a book where I learn something along with enjoying really good writing!
Kris Holstrom:
Highly enjoyable read! I would echo Elisabeth’s comments. The relationship developed very quickly. I too look forward to the sequel!
Elisabeth Gick:
Hey Seth, congratulations! Your mystery is an easy, fun read. The dialogues are excellent.
On the “could be improved” side I would suggest more detail on physical surroundings in order to settle the reader more into the environment; maybe not being quite so harsh in your description of the West Enders; and stretching the time between Ray’s disappearance and Sarah’s openness to a new intimate relationship.
I had fun with this book. Let’s see the sequel! Thanks.
