The Sweet Life was a concept restaurant by Jennifer Hayes, who imagined a kid-friendly combination candy store, ice cream parlor and burger joint in a resort town. Cool idea, but my guess is there wasn’t enough volume in a highly seasonal economy where the cost of doing business is so high for a business with small profit margins to survive. But Kenny Rosen sure made good ice cream! (And other stuff) What are you doing now, Jen?
This downstairs space is now home to Pescado Sushi. It was once the downstairs portion of Silverglade.
