Wildflour

Wildflour opened when the Camel’s Garden Hotel did, circa 1997.  It did not survive chef-owner Monika Callard’s premature death at 57, from cancer, in 2003.  Earlier, in 1972, Callard opened the Senate Bar and Restaurant, later the Athenian Senate. She later operated a gourmet takeout, Monika’s, and after that was a popular local caterer.

Wildflour was heralded for bringing great bread to town.
